🚨 CLASS COMPETITION ALERT 🚨
Bearkats families we're kicking off our 4th Annual Trunk O Treat Candy Drive on Mon, September 25th. The PTO will host an ice cream party for the class that donates the most candy. Additionally, receive 1/2lb credit when you donate any Sam's Club/Costco sized individually wrapped snacks (mini cheese balls, pretzels, popcorn balls, fruit snacks etc). NOTE: EACH CLASSROOM WILL ONLY RECEIVE CREDIT FOR 1 (ONE) DUMDUM (500ct / 5.34lbs) DONATION. Competition ends Wed, Oct 25th. Be sure to mark all Trunk O Treat donations with student's name, grade, and homeroom teacher.

Destination: Appreciation

With 3 days of travel down and 2 to go. We just wanted to show our families where our Cypress Staff have been and what they’ve been up to.

Monday their 1st stop was China 🇨🇳. They landed in Hong Kong just in time for a lunch feast. There they enjoyed delicious portions of Firecracker Chicken, Spicy Korean BBQ, Orange Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Teriyaki Chicken, Fried Rice, Noodles, Chicken Dumplings, Crab Wonton, and Thai Donuts. Then a swift trip to Shanghai for shopping and goodies before they were off to Mexico.

Tuesday they arrived in Guadalajara, Mexico 🇲🇽 early morning and the table was set with ham & egg, chorizo and & egg, and bacon & egg breakfast tacos and homemade salsa along with fruit salad, and coffee. Though they didn’t have time to stay for margaritas they were able to collect some souvenirs in Puebla before briskly setting off to Italy.

On Wednesday the teachers arrived to Sicily, Italy 🇮🇹 just as the doors were kicking open at Tenuta di Fessina (winery dating back to the 17th century). There they enjoyed a lunch featuring a handmade chicken spaghetti, fresh bread, and a garden salad. After lunch they toured the vineyards and enjoyed the volcanic views before catching the train in Roma to journey up to London.

There are many meaningful ways to share our gratitude with the teachers who inspire our kids, from a handwritten note to a gourmet luncheon, and other generous gestures. These are a few of the Cypress Trails team favorite things!

The week of May 8-12, we will be celebrating our Cypress Trails teachers and staff with a culinary journey around the world. You are more than welcome to join in on this effort to contribute to one of daily cultural culinary offerings.

Thank you to our dedicated PTO for making our 2nd annual STAAR Pep Rally the best ever! We were treated to a glowing experience complete with a special appearance from Mr. Anywhere! Our K-2 students designed motivational posters, which are proudly displayed around the campus. Finally, our Spring Community Church friends provided testing snack bags for our testers and teachers.
