You did it seniors! We thank the Lord for another graduation here at FCS. To our graduating class, may you each go on to love the Lord boldly, make His name known, and bring glory and honor to Him in all you do. We look forward to seeing how He uses and continues to shape each of you in your futures. Congratulations class of 2024!
Last week our fifth and sixth grade classes put on our very own Live Museum. This is part of the conclusion of their school year. Our hope is that they will present a historical character of their choice in a speech that lasts one to two minutes from the first person perspective. We hope those that attended had a wonderful experience and for those that were not able, enjoy these pictures from the event!
Last weekend we held our Sports Banquet to honor and recognize all of the accomplishments and hard work these athletes have put in over the last year. Many awards were given, excellent character was recognized, and it was a great time looking back on the last year of athletics here at FCS. Here are just a few pictures of the beautiful evening it was. Thank you again to all of our sponsors who help make this possible!
Last week our 4th grade class got to go and visit the Newman’s Castles and admire their architecture and design. Their teacher, Mrs. Nickel, caught these pictures of them learning and admiring!
We would love for all friends and family of our students to join us this Friday night at 6:30pm for our Seniors’ Graduation Ceremony. Our seniors have worked very hard for this moment so may we love and support them in a way that shows them how proud we are of their many accomplishments.
We would love to invite all parents of students to attend our 5th and 6th graders Living Museum. This will take place on Wednesday, May 15th from 9:40-11:15 in the gym. We hope you can make it!
Please join us for our FCS End-of-Year Chapel and Concert on Tuesday, May 14th, at 6:30pm. Our student choirs will present the concert “Psalms of Experience,” a musical meditation on Psalms 42 and 43. Mr. Admire will preach his final sermon of the year, and we will enjoy refreshments and fellowship afterward. Please invite family and friends to celebrate this special night of music, teaching, and community as we conclude our 2023/2024 school year at FCS.
This past weekend our high school track team competed in the TAPPS State track meet. Celeste Rubio placed 8th in the women’s 100m dash and 7th in the women’s 300m hurdles. Robert welling placed 2nd in the men’s 3200, and 4th in the men’s 1600. Levi Karns placed 4th in the men’s 3200, and Flavil Philips placed 8th in the men’s Shot Put. Great work Falcons!
They also got to have some fun and find these massive earth worms!🥴😂
Dear FCS Parents,
Indications are that current storm cells will move through by mid- morning.
However, we had heavy rains yesterday and heavy rain through the night. There are ongoing storms and flooding particularly in Montgomery County (where many of our families live).
As a result, we believe the most prudent thing to do is to cancel school for the day.
Be careful, enjoy your weekend, and Lord willing, we will see you back Monday!
Last week we held VIP Day at our school as we celebrated the special people and distinctive forms of learning that make up the Founders Christian School experience. We hope you all enjoyed the performances and various forms of artwork that were displayed. We appreciate all of the friends, family and students that help make up who we are at FCS.
The Master’s Chorale will be performing at our school on May 6th at 2:30pm. We hope to see you there! Entrance is free, but seating will be limited. Email [email protected] to RSVP.
“Directed by Dr. Marius Bahnean, The Master’s Chorale is a 43-member auditioned choir representing 20 states and virtually every major area of study. They perform sacred music from every major period, relating spiritual truth to people today. Their time with you will feature both music and testimony.
The Chorale performs throughout the year on and off The Master’s University’s campus. They have toured many parts of the United States, Europe, and have been guests of the Ministry of Tourism in Israel for several years. In 2003 and 2006, the Chorale performed at Carnegie Hall, under their former director Dr. Paul T. Plew, and in 2011 at Lincoln Center in New York City. Along with their own albums, the Chorale has recorded for Phil Barfoot, Steve Bock and Don Marsh. They were the featured choir of a series of hymn-story books with CD, featuring John MacArthur, Joni Eareckson Tada, and Robert and Bobbie Wolgumuth. They also recorded Let Heaven and Nature Sing, a Christmas album arranged by David T. Clydesdale, and most recently they recorded Light All Around, a Ligonier Ministries premier project.”
This past weekend our high school track team competed in regionals and we have four state qualifiers! Robert Welling, Flavil Phillips, Celeste Rubio and Levi Karns will all be going to compete in State this coming weekend. We can’t wait to see how excellent you each do. Way to go Falcons!

Last week our seniors completed their Thesis presentations. It is no small task that these students have completed and we are all extremely proud of you. You all displayed the many hours you spent studying your various topics with excellence. We cannot wait to see how the Lord will continue to use these passions and areas of interest in your lives. May you each use the things you have learned to bring God the glory.

Session 3 is currently underway.
Session 2 will begin at 8:30am.
Our 6th grade class recently visited the Holocaust Museum in Houston while reading The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom. It was a great experience and solemn reminder of the importance of valuing the sanctity of life made in the image of God.
If you would like to watch our Seniors’ Thesis presentations but are not able to attend, you can watch them live on our YouTube page.

The TAPPS Vocal Music Championships culminated last Saturday in Waco and includes scores from solo and small ensemble contests, large ensemble contests, and concert sight-reading. The 1A division in vocal music continues to be quite competitive, and we were up against some well-established and impressive programs. Our choirs worked hard to prepare, and we are so grateful to God for this amazing result!” -Megan Larson, Music Director
