The evening will begin in the Worship Center, where students perform on stage as a grade level. Then we will walk through an incredible art show on our way to the gym, where there will be desserts and a silent auction.

Tickets need to be purchased in advance and are due on Thursday, March 20th.

🏀🔵⚪⚫ STAFF VS. STUDENTS: THE GAME OF THE YEAR! ⚫⚪🔵🏀

What. A. Night.

Tonight, history was made at SBA! Our first-ever Staff vs. Students Basketball Game was an absolute blast, and we are so grateful for everyone who came out to cheer, laugh, and witness what may have been the most competitive and entertaining game of the year! 🎉💙🏀

And this wasn’t just about staff vs. students—it was FAMILY vs. FAMILY!
👨‍👧‍👦 Father vs. son… and daughter!
👨‍👩‍👧 Brother vs. brother… and sister!
👩‍👧‍👧 Aunt vs. daughter… and niece!
🏀 Four from one family playing, with two on each team!

The game was intense from start to finish, with both teams battling for bragging rights and ultimate schoolyard glory. But in the end, the staff pulled off the win, defeating the students 60-55! 🏆💪 Looks like the teachers get to walk the halls with their heads held high… for now! 😏

There was pride on the line, a little bit of playful trash talk, and even a technical foul for… untying an opponent’s shoes? (Yes, that really happened. 👀😂) Even the referee couldn’t stop laughing! 🤣

And let’s not forget—this was a FUNDraiser, and we definitely put the FUN in fundraising! 💰🎉 From the amazing crowd atmosphere to the delicious 🥩 brisket sandwiches (seriously, can we make those a regular thing?), tonight was one to remember.

📚🔢 Tomorrow’s math class might have some new word problems:
✏️ If a teacher played 10 minutes of basketball, how many hours of Epsom salt soaking are required to recover? 🤕🛁
✏️ How much IcyHot does a 🏀 Bible teacher need before they can walk again? 😆🔥

But what won’t be questioned?
✅ The fun that was had by all. 🏀💙
✅ The incredible spirit of our Royals community. 👑⚪
✅ And the memories that will last long after the soreness fades. 🖤 📸

Dear SBA Nation,

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came together to honor Officer Mac. Your outpouring of cards, banners, and gifts throughout the day was truly remarkable. It seemed like wave after wave of kindness and generosity filled his day. In fact, it left him speechless!

For those who may not know, Officer Mac is our dedicated School Resource Officer (SRO). He’s a kind and generous man, often reserved and soft-spoken, but unwavering in his commitment to the safety and security of our families and students. His warm smile and upbeat attitude brighten our days.

When we celebrated him on SRO Day, he was genuinely overwhelmed and found himself speechless multiple times. He shared his joy with his wife, who reassured him that it was good to accept this appreciation. He also informed his employer, expressing how unprecedented this recognition was for him.

Officer Mac is deeply grateful for your gestures and amazed by the love and generosity you’ve shown. I, too, want to thank you for embodying Christ’s love in honoring this gentleman who serves us daily, rain or shine, with a steadfast commitment to our community.
