MEET THE TUTOR!

Abbey Wilson holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. She discovered her passion for education shortly after graduating and hasn’t looked back since! She launched AW Tutoring in 2020 while working in special education and obtaining her teaching certification. Since then, she’s worked with hundreds of students through AW Tutoring and as a full time classroom teacher. Abbey is certified in Math 4-8 and will gladly tell you that middle schoolers are her people. She has experience working with students with various learning disabilities, IEP’s, 504’s, and behavioral plans. Her biggest goal when working with any student is to make math approachable. She knows that math won’t be everyone’s favorite subject (no matter how hard she may try to convince them otherwise), but is a firm believer that math doesn’t have to be stressful or intimidating. Abbey’s favorite thing about working with students is getting to see their confidence and self esteem blossom as they conquer new skills and overcome obstacles!

We're taking on individual and group clients for the fall semester, but space is EXTREMELY limited! We closed our doors a few years back to be in the classroom full time, but we're officially open again and accepting new clients!
