Hispanic Heritage Month Facts:

National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15.

The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic
Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson.

It was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period.

It was enacted into law on August 17, 1988.

“Sports ball Fridays at Early Ivy” our lovely students from ages 2 to 5 enjoyed their Friday today with Coach Brayden⚽️🏀🏈🥎🎾

Today was our first day of 🎼Music at Early Ivy🎼 and every Wednesday. The students absolutely enjoyed themselves this morning with our special guest Mrs. Caitlin Weeks. Students will learn different music enrichments, be actively involved in engaging with music and enjoy the joy of music through rhythm.

We are super excited to start our "All About Me" curriculum in September. The students will absolutely enjoy it. They will explore their body parts, experiment their five senses, design clothing and learn how to take care of their own needs.

Summer Camp Schoolers enjoyed Sportball North Houston on Thursday with Coach Nick and Coach Benito🏈⚾️🏀⚽️🎾 and Movie time 🎬📺 in the afternoon

Our first week of summer camp ended very well with Splash Day Fridays, Pizza for Lunch and ended it with Sno-Cones from Husky Sno

Day 2 of Summer Camp was Cooking Day “Create, Build and Make your own Tacos🌮😋

School- Agers enjoyed some indoor an outdoor fun with numerous of games and going to the park on Monday.

Our lovely school-age student helper Lilliam volunteered to read the story of 🐠The Rainbow Fish🐠 to the class on Monday. The class was excited to discuss the moral of the story and the importance of sharing. In addition, following up creating their own rainbow fish by coloring🌈❤️💙🩵🩷💜💛💚🧡

Last week on their last day of school our schoolers were very happy to get out from school early and ready for the Summer☀️
