What a great turn out we had @ Illinois Valley 4 Jesus! So many families came through to enjoy the prayer , worship and all the games that Valley Community Church put on and the bounce houses we provided! We look forward to serving our community every year! Thank you to all the hands that made this possible!

The weather and rain didn’t stop these young hero’s from enjoying volunteer week to the fullest!
✅Necklace kits made
✅church chairs put back into place
✅garbage pickup
✅fishing
✅swimming
✅games

✅memories being made!

💖favorite part of the day is when one young hero made his way into the pool bc he’s not a good swimmer yet and said “I’m trusting Jesus!!”

💦We sure did splash into summer this week!
Wowza! Week 1 and I’m not sure who is more tired me or the kiddos!
Here is just a few things that took place:
🌊Bible- we talked about how more of Jesus in your life helps you get rid of sin so you don’t have to try and struggle to do it in your own power.
- we also discussed how Peter walked on water when his eyes were on Jesus but when he took his eyes off he began to sink!
🧽games- we played lots of different water games and enjoyed the pool and lake
🍧snacks- kids made an edible ocean cups and ocean slushies
🎣-caught some blue gill and minnows
🦞- kids were turned to lobsters after two full days in the sun! 😬
Next up volunteer week & yes more fun in the sun !

Wow ! What a great community spring valley has! We are so grateful for all the businesses and individuals that participated and really encouraged these young learners!
It was our first time to deliver lunches to our local business in Springvalley and look forward to next year again! Thank u for letting us serve you!
