To help you get to know Mrs. Morton, we invite you to read the following biography.

Mrs. Allison Morton joins us from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, where she spent the year enjoying the adventure of 4th grade. She is excited, however, to return to her home of Kindergarten and build on more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education and Kindergarten classrooms.

Allison and her family are excited to settle into Grand Haven for a new adventure after relocating from Oregon. Michigan is not entirely new, however. Allison spent many childhood summers in Ludington and along the Pere Marquette and is a proud alumnus of the University of Michigan.

For Allison, Kindergarten is a bit of a magical place. Whether it is story time, songs, classroom traditions, or helping children become readers and writers, there is nothing quite like the wonder and growth that happens during those early school years.

Outside of school, Allison enjoys spending time with her three children, Adelaide, Teddy, and Ellery, along with the family's dog, Winston.

She is excited to become part of the school community and looks forward to meeting the students and families who will make this next adventure so special.

It was wonderful to celebrate Mass together and nice to see so many alumni back to St. Mary's. Following Mass, we gathered for our closing prayer and annual flag-lowering ceremony. The rain held off until the very end—as if giving us just enough time to close another wonderful school year together.
Father also gave a special blessing to Mrs. Peel and Mrs. Giroux on their retirement
