Spring Lake School of Dance is in its thirty-sixth year of business. The school provides the atmosphere and training that will nurture both the potential artist and the dance student who studies only for the inherent rewards of self-discipline, confidence, physical fitness, and a greater appreciation of movement and music. trive to assist the developing dancer to reach their potential through a safe and progressive approach. Each student is treated as an individual. This is achieved through our low student to teacher ratio and positive reinforcement. We offer concerned, individual attention in a positive, encouraging atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on correct dance technique. Improved posture, coordination, greater flexibility, and a stronger, healthier body are just a few benefits that will be achieved by our students. Our children's classes are geared toward the mastering of basic concepts through imagination and exploration. For the older student we challenge them with the latest dance innovations and choreography while continuing to emphasize the hows and whys of technique. Safe work habits, personal responsibility, and concentration become second nature to our budding artists. The Spring Lake School of Dance offers two fully equipped and air conditioned studios. Both of our studios feature the "neo-shock" floor system which is designed specifically for dancers and athletes to reduce the impact on feet, ankles, knees, and back. Our entire staff holds College degrees in Dance, are certified by Dance Educators of America, or by the Royal Academy of Dance.
