This week was the Week of Respect! Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Malcolm, led assemblies for each grade, focusing on self-respect, including others, the importance of kindness, and being an upstander. Throughout the week, students reflected on being respectful and helping create a safe, welcoming school for everyone. We love our Mountz Tigers!

🌱 Thank you, Mountz PTA!

We’re so excited to welcome Drop the Beet to Mountz this year! Thanks to the generous sponsorship of our PTA, our 3rd- 8th graders will have the opportunity to dive into hands-on, real-world learning in partnership with their science classes.

From getting their hands dirty to exploring science through growing, gardening, and discovery, this program will offer our students more opportunities to learn by doing, and we can’t wait to see where it grows!

As the new year begins, please remember to report student absences, tardies, and early dismissals through Genesis, available online and as an app.
Once it’s entered into Genesis, your child’s teachers, the main office, our attendance officer/school nurse, and administrators will be notified, eliminating the need for emails or phone calls.

Timing Reminder:
Absences/Tardies: Report by 8:30 AM
Afternoon Early Dismissals: Report by 12:00 PM

Our goal is to make attendance reporting quick, clear, and efficient while reducing emails and calls. Thank you for helping us streamline this process!
