Spring Lake Middle School/Intermediate School Art

Consider taking advantage of the Summer Enrichment course I'm offering and get time on the potters wheel! Students will get to throw pottery and glaze and fire their pieces.

Looking for a crafty person who would like to make some small (ranging from 10 to 16" square) black art display boxes. I was surprised at how expensive they were and wondered if anyone with woodworking skills would be interested in making some for the display cabinets here at the school. Sample image below:

We are doing a project using found objects and I'm in need of a few things:

-Bench Vice
-Found objects (metal, wire, small parts...bits and pieces of unusual stuff)
-Pliers
-Wire cutters

Any and or all of these items can be brought to the middle school office. Thanks in advance!

Once in a while I get to do some of my own work...here's a little bowl I threw while doing a student demonstration.

Wrapping up with 6th graders for the first encore rotation...here is sample of the work coming home. Positive and negative trees.
