Proud to announce that the Spring Lake Girls Basketball Team has earned 2026 Academic All-State Honors!

As girls basketball wrapped up for the state of Michigan this weekend, we wanted to reflect on our own journey. Looking back at everything we accomplished this season, we are reminded that it truly takes a village.

We are so grateful for the support we received this past year from the Spring Lake community. From the parents who volunteered to the fans who showed up on game days, your energy fueled us every step of the way. Also, a huge thank you to our coaches, for their time, dedication and belief in this team.

We are proud of what this group of young women achieved on and off the court. Thank you for being a part of our journey and for helping make this a year to remember. We appreciate you all more than you know. THANK YOU!

"Happy Monday, Lakers! I hope everyone enjoyed their half days last week and ended the trimester strong. Last Friday, my basketball team played against Whitehall for the district championship, and we came out on top!

I feel our dominant wins over Whitehall and Orchard View showcased the effort and dedication my team has relentlessly put in this season. We will, without a doubt, carry this into regionals as we play West Catholic today at Allendale at 5:30p. Hope to see you there!"
