Alli Dotson is a Low Brass Instructor at MusicEveryday! She offers lessons in trombone, euphonium, and tuba. She is excited to share the joys of low brass with students!
Alli received her Masters of Music from University of Wisconsin Madison and her Bachelors of Music from Western Michigan University. She is a classically trained trombonist who loves to play in chamber settings, musical pits, band, orchestra, and jazz ensembles. While studying in Wisconsin she was a Teaching Assistant with the University of Wisconsin Marching Band and has worked with a variety of high school marching band programs as well. Alli currently plays trombone in the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band. When she’s not playing trombone she loves reading, painting, and soaking up the sun with her cat Lucy!

Scott Pellegrom is a Global Drumbassador that has been touring the world for the last 20 years as a drum soloist, teaching, public speaking and recording. With over 25 years of teaching experience and an international professional career he has appeared on Drumeo and Drum Channel multiple times. Scott was a headlining clinician at PASIC 2019. He has millions of views with one video over 8 million views. On social media he has 39K Followers on Instagram combined 25K followers and fans on Facebook. In 2020 he was nominated as a top 5 soloist and top 5 educator in the world in Modern Drummer Magazine. Scott is the drummer and percussionist on 6 time EMMY winning documentary on BBC Network, The Last Artifact with composer Sheridan Tounge. Scott is an educator, artist and clinician for Reverie Cymbals, PDP Drums, ProMark Sticks, Evans Drum Heads, LP Latin Percussion, Sensory Percussion, GEWA Electronic Drums and SE Electronics Microphones. Scott currently gigs and tours with his own trio, quartet and also his new project, Nocturnal Lights. Scott is also touring with Grammy considered artist Lyons & Co.

Native American Drumming Circle
Monday, June 1
6 - 7 PM

Mill Point Park
102 West Savidge St., Spring Lake
Join us at Mill Point Park for a special presentation by an Anishinaabe women’s drumming circle. This sacred drum circle represents sobriety and is carried by Anishinaabe Kwewag (women). Through traditional songs and drumming, the group shares and honors Native American culture and traditions.
Please bring a lawn chair for seating.
In case of rain, the program will be held at the Spring Lake District Library.
