AND DONT YOU FORGET IT!
In the Bible, age is frequently associated with wisdom and understanding.
Proverbs 16:31 tells us, “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.”
In biblical times, elders were revered, their wisdom seen as a gift to the community.
By the time one reaches 80, they’ve likely gathered countless experiences and lessons, which can be shared with younger generations.
The psalmist echoes this sentiment in Psalm 71:18, saying, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation.”
