Picnics, smiles, and crisp autumn air! 🧺✨

Today our Preschool and PreK classrooms got to host the ultimate special guests for lunch: their families! Thank you to everyone who spent their lunchtime celebrating the first day of fall with us. These community moments are what make Spring House so special!❤️🍂

Vegetables from our very own veggie garden even made an appearance! Keep an eye on the foyer for the final harvests in the coming weeks! 🍅🍆🎃

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
