Rainy Day Dismissal Procedures for Mariner and Roble Gates

To ensure student safety and maintain an orderly dismissal during inclement weather, the following procedures will be followed when a Rainy Day Dismissal is called by administration. Parents will be notified of a Rainy Day dismissal via Parent Square.

🚶 Roble Gate - Walkers & Bike Riders
During inclement weather, walkers and bike riders assigned to the Roble Gate will remain in Classroom 501. A staff member stationed at the gate with a radio will contact the classroom when a parent arrives. Students will then be escorted to the gate for dismissal.

🚶 Mariner Gate - Walkers & Bike Riders
During inclement weather, walkers and bike riders assigned to the Mariner Gate will be held in the cafeteria.

These students will have a delayed dismissal beginning at 4:15 p.m., after Pre-K students have been released. Please note that students will by dismissed by grade level starting with kindergarten.

Parents:
Please line up in a single-file line along the black gate/fence.
Do not block the gate opening and keep the pathway clear for students to exit safely.
This area is not covered, so rain gear or an umbrella is recommended.
Be prepared to show your Pick-Up Card or a photo ID.

Important:
No student will be released to walk or ride home during dangerous weather conditions.

Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and teamwork. Our top priority is the safety of all students.
