What a weekend for the TBJJA family!

🥇🥇 We took two competitors up to New Jersey for the IBJJF No-Gi tournament and they both absolutely dominated.

First up, massive congratulations to David Torza from our Hohenwald gym! He left no doubt this weekend, bringing home double gold by winning both his division and the absolute division in the Master 4 Blue Belt class. Incredible work, Dave!

And a huge, hard-earned shoutout to Alex from TBJJA headquarters. He finally locked down the gold medal in the Adult Black Belt Featherweight division—a goal he has been chasing for years. We know how much work went into this one, Alex.
So incredibly proud of both these guys for stepping up and representing Middle Tennessee Jiu-Jitsu and our team with everything they’ve got. Way to represent!

The mats won’t make your problems disappear, but they offer something far more valuable: a space to cultivate the resilience, clarity, and community needed to confront them.

Step onto the mat, challenge your perspective, and re-engage with your life.

NEW TBJJA SCHEDULE STARTING OCTOBER 1ST!

We’re making a few schedule changes starting October 1st! Please take a look through the new schedule and double-check class times before coming in.

A few of the biggest changes:

🥋 Mini Rhinos will now start at 4:30 PM.

🥋 Lil Rhinos on Mondays & Wednesdays will now be ONE class from 5:15–6:15 PM

⏰ A few other classes have shifted slightly—some by only about 5 minutes—so be sure to check the full schedule!

We’re hoping these adjustments make it easier for students to get to class after school and give everyone smoother transition times between classes.

New schedule goes into effect October 1st! Please share and help us spread the word!
