🏃‍♀️🐉 **Ready, Set, SOAR! Join the Deltona Fit Run Club!** 🐉🏃‍♂️

The Deltona Fit Run Club begins Tuesday, September 1, 2026, and meets every Tuesday at 8:10 a.m.before school!

Open to all 4th- and 5th-grade students on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will enjoy:

🏃 Running
💪 Strength training
⚡ Speed and agility activities

💵 Cost: $40 for the year and $25 for each additional sibling. Registration includes a **Fit Club T-shirt!**

🚌 **Drop-off:** Bus loop from **8:00–8:05 a.m. only**

Students should arrive dressed and ready to participate, bring water, and bring their school uniform to change into afterward. Strong participation and positive behavior are expected.

A Personalized Mailbox Surprise—2nd Week Fuel! 💚💛

Our Deltona Dragons tackled the first week like champions! To celebrate, each staff member received a personalized “2nd Week Fuel” surprise in their mailbox to keep their energy and Dragon spirit going strong!

Thank you for bringing your energy, heart, and excellence to our students each day. We are so proud of all you do!

💚💛 What an AMAZING evening at Deltona Elementary! 🐉🎉

We had a fantastic Title I and SAC meeting, followed by an exciting informational session about creating our PTO! We absolutely loved seeing so many parents engaged, enthusiastic, and ready to partner with us!

If you would like to attend, join, or participate, it’s not too late! We would love to see you at our next meeting on September 21. Everyone is welcome!

🚸🐉 **Deltona Safety Patrols Ready to Lead!** 🐉🚸

Our Safety Patrol held its first meeting! Students received their belts, learned about their assigned posts and responsibilities, and participated in a special flag replacement ceremony. 🇺🇸

A special thank-you to Deputy Matlock and our school social worker, Mr. Kittoe, for their leadership and dedication to our student patrols! 💚💛

🔥🐉 **What an AMAZING first week at Deltona Elementary!** 🐉🔥

Our Dragons had a wonderful week **making friends, learning routines, and showing the SOAR Way**—Self-Control, On Task, Act Kindly, and Responsible—during our first PBIS assemblies! 💚💛

Learning was in full swing with **robotics, coding, STEM activities, and creative art projects** that had our students exploring, creating, and having fun while learning. 🤖🎨🚀

We also loved seeing our Dragons proudly wearing their **uniforms and new spirit shirts!** 👕🐉

A huge **thank you to our families** for a great morning drop-off and for your continued patience and support as we work to make afternoon pick-up even safer and more efficient.
