Do not leave gaps* I know people don’t think it makes a difference however, it most certainly does. If everyone pulled up there would be so much more room to get vehicles off of Elgin. Do your part and this line will be flowing before you know it!

Some tips for the first day of school AM drop off:
1. BE PATIENT!
2. 1st-8th grade parents can park and walk their child to the blue doors on the first day so the sidewalks will be bustling with people.
3. Kindergarten parents can pre-register and walk their K student to class using the blue doors by the playground. Again, the sidewalks will be busy with people. Families need yo pre-register by August 10th. A link was sent via Parent Square and Skyward.
4. BE SAFE. BE KIND.
HCSO traffic deputies highly suggest that if you:
🚗 If you make a left into school, drive directly to the back drop off line - no matter what grade level your child is in.
🚗 If you make a right into school, drive to the front drop off line - no matter what grade your child is in.
It would be great for everyone to try this suggestion after the first day of school. Let’s see if it will help the line go faster! Please remember no dropping off in the parking lot or the median in front of the school.
