Third grade had a tea party to celebrate their reading unit over Wind and the Willows/Alice in Wonderland today! Each student got to try tea and biscuits (Biscoff cookies).

We are a little early this year, but we have officially started Chick Watch here at SHES!
Last Thursday, September 10th was Day 1 of incubation, and to make it even more fun we have 36 eggs to watch! All three 1st grade classrooms have a dozen eggs, and they should be hatching around September 30th, give or take a day or two.
We’ll keep you posted!

A summer of improvements! 🛠️✨

Spring Hill Elementary saw several improvements over the summer, including a new addition, HVAC upgrades and more. Take a look at the progress and see what’s new around the building! 💜💛

The Spring Hill School District has declared this Friday, September 4th versus Lansing HS at 8 PM as Youth Football Night. Any youth visitor to the game that evening who wears their youth football jersey or their Rise Above Camp T-Shirt will be admitted free. The game was originally scheduled for 7 PM but the administrators from both schools agreed to move the game an hour later to 8 PM due to the heat.

If the Youth Football Player and/or Rise Above Camp participant arrives early enough they will be part of the group that enters the field in pre-game through the inflatable Bronco on the south end of the stadium bleachers. In order to do that you must be inside the stadium before 7:45pm.

We hope you get a chance to come out and watch the Broncos play this Friday!
