I always talk to the kids about having a positive mindset! Some don't care much for school, but they have to be there; why not make the most of it!? Negative thoughts only make matters worse. Is it your favorite assignment? Maybe not. But it has to be done regardless, and coming at it with a better attitude will make the experience more manageable. Us grown ups can use the same technique!
