Members of SCET, along with MTREC staff, planted 11 varieties of Enlist soybeans as part of the County Standardized Trial (CST) program this morning.

The CST program is helping bring real-world research directly to local farms across Tennessee. By partnering with producers and AgResearch Centers, these trials evaluate crop varieties and management practices under true field conditions to deliver reliable, practical results. It’s one more way UTIA is turning research into solutions that strengthen agriculture at the county level.

Each of the 95 counties in Tennessee, have an Agriculture & Natural Resources, Community Economic Development, Family & Consumer Sciences, and 4-H Youth Development Extension Agent.
