Our Philosophy
Our primary concern is to provide an environment and experiences to help children grow in all areas of development including fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Preschool children attain knowledge best by doing, not by being told, and allowing each individual child to progress at their own pace is crucial. JCPC IS PLAY BASED AND PROVIDES CHILDREN W

ITH THE OPPORTUNITIES:
• For encouragement and praise
• To learn, with guidance, how to work and play with others
• To exercise large muscles and gain control of small muscles
• To work in a group as well as alone
• To learn to make good choices
• To prepare for the kindergarten experience

Enrichment Classes
We will offer themed monthly Enrichment Classes on Mondays or Tuesdays, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm @ $50 per month

Enrichment Opportunities:
Each month we will offer thematic units that afford our small students the opportunity to move their bodies, get creative and expand their minds. Music and Movement classes incorporate dance and exercise with songs and instruments to have your child moving and grooving. Art Enrichment classes introduce an artist of the month to inspire your child’s imagination. Each class, your little artist will use learned techniques to create their own masterpiece. Science and Exploring classes use the scientific method to spark students’ inquiring minds. We will use hands-on activities and experiments to engage students in exploring the world around us.

It was a week of sick teachers, sick students and then...Valentine's Day celebrations. Even with the challenges, The Kindergarten Prep (4/5's) kids participated in Hearts Across America, drawing beautiful pictures and sharing their thoughts about Love and Friendship.
Their work was mailed to the seniors in Memory Care who reside at Fitz Farm, in York with the hope of brightening their day! Proud of this group and their willingness to give.
(I did not get photos of all that we sent, but each child contributed).
