Our Philosophy
Our primary concern is to provide an environment and experiences to help children grow in all areas of development including fine motor, gross motor, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Preschool children attain knowledge best by doing, not by being told, and allowing each individual child to progress at their own pace is crucial. JCPC IS PLAY BASED AND PROVIDES CHILDREN WITH THE OPPORTUNITIES:
• For encouragement and praise
• To learn, with guidance, how to work and play with others
• To exercise large muscles and gain control of small muscles
• To work in a group as well as alone
• To learn to make good choices
• To prepare for the kindergarten experience

Enrichment Classes
We will offer themed monthly Enrichment Classes on Mondays or Tuesdays, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm @ $50 per month

Enrichment Opportunities:
Each month we will offer thematic units that afford our small students the opportunity to move their bodies, get creative and expand their minds. Music and Movement classes incorporate dance and exercise with songs and instruments to have your child moving and grooving. Art Enrichment classes introduce an artist of the month to inspire your child’s imagination. Each class, your little artist will use learned techniques to create their own masterpiece. Science and Exploring classes use the scientific method to spark students’ inquiring minds. We will use hands-on activities and experiments to engage students in exploring the world around us.

Preschool is about learning to interact with your peers.
It's also about being comfortable playing independently.
And, it's also about having the self-awareness to know when you prefer one over the other.
There's a lot to learn and these kids are doing a great job with all of it and the best job supporting each other!

🎃 Let’s Make Halloween in Jefferson One to Remember! 👻🍬

Can we count on an amazing turnout from our Jefferson community this year?

We’re inviting neighbors throughout Jefferson Borough, as well as those in the developments just outside the borough along York Street/Green Valley Road and Hanover Street/Sinsheim Road, to join the fun!

🚒 JVFC will be set up at multiple locations throughout the community on Halloween night!

As a kid, I remember walking through town and seeing nearly every porch light turned on, welcoming children to stop for candy. Let’s bring that excitement back for today’s kids!

🏠 Turn on your porch light
🍭 Set up outside and hand out candy
🎃 Decorate your home
👋 Help make our community feel welcoming and fun

Saturday, October 31st
6:00–8:00 PM

How many porch lights can we get turned on this year? Comment below and let us know if you’ll be sitting out and handing out candy! Together, let’s make this a Halloween our children will always remember! 🧡🖤

What a line up! Nice work for September. And, a pair of building boys.
