Bright and early Thursday morning, CBS 21 News visited Spring Grove Area School District for live interviews during its morning show!

Dr. Kirkpatrick, Mrs. Mallory, SGAMS Principal, Dr. Peake, SGI Principal, and Mr. Ehrhart, SGAHS Principal, did a fantastic job representing Rocket Nation and highlighting just a few of the great things happening across our district and in their schools.

Live television is no easy task, especially between 5 and 7 a.m., but they handled it like pros!

WGAL stopped by Spring Grove Area High School yesterday to highlight our Link Crew program and the upperclassmen who are helping ninth-grade students make a successful transition to high school.

Through the relationships they build with our newest Rockets, Link Crew Leaders help create the belonging and positive engagement at the heart of our Rocket Promise.

We’re especially proud of Klye and Jacki, who stepped in front of the camera to share more about the program and their experience as Link Crew Leaders.

Our 2026-27 WEB Leaders are ready! 🚀💙

Our eighth-grade WEB Leaders are putting the Rocket Promise into action by helping create a welcoming environment where our new seventh graders feel respected, included, and like they belong from day one.

They’ll be there to answer questions, help students find their way, make introductions, and simply be a friendly face as seventh graders get used to a new building, new routines, and middle school life.

We’re excited to see our WEB Leaders welcome the newest members of SGAMS!

Hard hat on and ready to learn! 👷‍♀️ SGASD Superintendent Dr. Kirkpatrick enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Pixelle Specialty Solutions yesterday and the opportunity to meet with Julie Schertell, Karen Jacques, Matt Archambeau, and Chris Auchey.
