Dear ECSD Families,
Elko County School District is seeking parents, students, employees and community members to serve on three Superintendent Advisory Groups, creating additional opportunities for our stakeholders to share their perspectives directly with district leadership.
Applications open Monday, September 14, for:
Parent Advisory Group: Seven parents or legal guardians from across ECSD will help gather and review parent and community feedback and collaborate on the development of a district-wide improvement and feedback survey.
Student Advisory Group: ECSD students currently in grades 10 or 11 can apply to share student perspectives on district policies, campus culture and educational programs directly with the Superintendent.
Budget Advisory Group: ECSD employees, parents and community members can apply to provide perspective and recommendations related to the district’s budget, funding priorities and long-term fiscal planning.
Applications for all three advisory groups must be submitted by 5 p.m. Monday, September 28.

Families of eligible high school students are also encouraged to share the Student Advisory Group opportunity with their students and encourage them to apply.
