Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2-6! The SHS PTSO will be providing breakfast on 5/3 and lunch on 5/5 to show our LOVE.

Are you looking for an easy way to show your gratitude? Send your teacher a digital card through the VA Lottery's Thank A Teacher campaign now through 5/6. Qualifying teachers who receive a card can enter a unique web code found in the email into an online drawing for one of four Virginia vacations and a $2,500 in credit for school supplies!

1) Attend spirit nights to help us fund SHS events- Our next one is at the Cosner’s Corner 5 Guys on Thurs. 4/21, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Please show or mention the flyer below!

The Spotsylvania High School Library and Ms. Valasko's Social Studies Honor Society, Rho Kappa, held a school wide canned food drive to collect food for the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank and to compete in . Thanks to Ms. McKnight and Ms. Minter for helping organize and collect cans and to all who donated cans and/or money. Also, to all staff that agreed to be pied in the face for a great cause! Now time to vote! You may vote once now through Sunday, 3/27. Obviously we'd love a vote for one of our designs, but vote how you'd like and please share this post to spread the word! ❤️️🥫

A couple of announcements!

1) We'll have our March PTSO meeting in the library on Monday, 3/7, at 6:00 pm. We will work on the after prom party and teacher appreciation week.
*We will need volunteers for the after prom party. Please keep the evening/night of 4/30 open to help with this important event.

2) You can still sign up to help out with prom refreshments! Attached is the sign up!

3) Thank you to all that sent in cans or donations. SHS reached its 2,000 can goal!
