To all our alumni, it is official. The ICS Class of 2025 will be the last. The school will be closing at the end of this school year.

Future plans of the property have not been discussed.

We'd like to thank all those who have supported the school over the years, as faculty, students and parents.

We are proud to announce that senior Madeline Rogala has been named a commended student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2024 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2023 competition by taking the 2022 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).

"Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," commented a spokesperson for NMSC. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."

Attention Class of 1983! We will be having a (gulp) 40th year reunion on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at the ICS Cafeteria.

We are also inviting the 35th & 45th years also (Class of 1978 & 1988) If there is anyone from these years that would like to be the chairpersons for your years (to spread the word and help with setup), please let us know.

Fr. Jack O'Kane (current pastor) will be saying 5pm mass, and all are invited for special recognition and a blessing. Then we can go to the cafeteria for the festivities.

We hope to see everyone there!!
