Our feature show "Spring into Lake Time" is a combination show showcasing clay artist Jill Smith, and talented watercolor artist Clint Whitsett.

The ClayFox Clay School is offering another 5 session classe on throwing on the potter's wheel. Class sizes are small (4 -5 people) and these sessions open to adults only. 3 sessions of throwing on the potter's wheel creating bowls, plates and mugs n' vases, then a trimming session and the last session on several different glazing techniques. A new beginner class is starting Thursday nights at 6:00 beginning April 23. The last classes have been muddy fun for all! Cost is $240 for the 5 sessions and includes throwing instruction, clay, glazes and firing. The last classes came away with about 10 to 12 pieces each! It’s winter still and time to get muddy (since there isn’t that much snow to play in)!! Come have some muddy fun and try out the potter’s wheel! I am now booking last of February and March openings for a “Just Try It” one session clay classes. These are adult classes (18 and older). Most “Just Try It” classes are on Saturdays but if you have 4-5 people/family/friends you can schedule a class pretty much any day and time. Just let me know what might work for you and how many wheels to reserve. Classes are $48 each for 2 ½ hours. We have a lot of muddy fun and classes do fill up pretty quick! It is a New Year and time to clean up the studio! Anyone who made bowls over 5 months ago and didn't come back to glaze them / or have them glazed.....well they are now being recycled. If you squawk loud enough and contact me before tomorrow there is a still a chance to retrieve them. If you would like some new bowls.... come on back and we will make some more!
