Pond water, microscopes and science journals! 2nd grade is deep in the world of ecosystems this week. They spent time in the science lab examining live pond samples and recording their findings in their own words and drawings.

Our 8th graders began their end-of-year celebrations with a day of prayer, conversation, fellowship, and fun at Ross Point Retreat Center and by the looks of it, the high ropes course was a highlight! Please join us in praying that our graduates conclude their time at St. Charles with a deeper, more mature understanding of their lives and purpose in Christ.

Thank you to our 8th grade teachers, parent volunteers, Fr. Peak and Fr. Gaines for planning a meaningful day for our graduates.

Thank you to our community partner, Life Services Spokane , for visiting our 8th grade class! Your time and presence meant so much to our students. We look forward to welcoming you back next school year.

Connie and Kallie recently spoke with the 8th-grade students at St Charles Catholic School about prenatal development and the value of life. We were both impacted and encouraged by the students’ sincerity and passion for upholding life.

Kallie also shared her story, about how Life Services helped her by providing an ultrasound, compassionate medical care, spiritual discipleship, and long-term support.

At StC, education is about encountering Truth, including the the natural world. Our middle school students dove into frog dissection this week as part of Nature Studies, learning firsthand how biology, order and design are woven together in God's creation.
