Cola Boyer, the Director of Tribal Relations from EWU and member of the Shoshone Bannock tribe and her sister presented to our 7th grade Social Studies classes today. The students spent time considering tribal perspectives in conjunction with the Since Time Immemorial curriculum. This curriculum was recently completed in 7th grade Washington State History. The Shoshone Bannock tribe is the tribe of our namesake Sacajawea.

Dissection day in 6th grade science. Before we can learn how the body heals from an injury, we need to learn how the skin, bones, and muscles function.

Mr. Wright and the Sacajawea Choirs attended the Spokane Falls Music Educators Association Festival today at Whitworth. The SFMEA annual event brings together local Middle School ensembles for performances, adjudicator feedback, and clinics.
