Preferred Procedure is an advanced yet simple approach for forecasting the performance of a stock. Do you skip over Preferred Procedure in the SSG? You are not alone! This procedure uses a simplified Income Statement to project future earnings per share.

Instructor Avi Horwitz will show us what to look for when we use Preferred Procedure, how it relates to our Stock Selection Guide, and how it ties back to the company’s Income Statement. He will explore each of the components of the Preferred Procedure used to project future EPS growth. Avi will use his wit and wisdom to explain Preferred Procedure in simple easy understandable terms.

Abraham (Avi) Horwitz is a well-known presenter having taught at The MoneyShow, BINC, and for BetterInvesting chapters nationwide. In addition, Avi regularly presents online classes for BetterInvesting.

In May 2016, Avi was the recipient of The George A. Nicholson Jr. Distinguished Service Award in Investment Education. He is a founding Director of the BIVAB (BetterInvesting Volunteer Advisory (BIVA) Board). Avi serves as a director for five Chapters and served as BIVAB’s Chapter Support Chair. In his spare time, Avi is a Certified Public Accountant with his own practice in New York City.
