Like so many across Spokane, our Little Scholars family is heartbroken by yesterday’s wildfire and the devastating impact it has had on our community.
Our thoughts are with the families who have lost their homes, belongings and everyone navigating the uncertainty that follows. We are deeply thankful for the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency responders, utility crews, and volunteers who continue working tirelessly to keep our community safe.
If you or someone you know has been displaced, the Spokane Convention Center remains open as an evacuation and resource center for those affected by the fire.
As educators, we know that children thrive when they are surrounded by caring adults and a community that comes together in difficult times. We know that Spokane is resilient and will grow stronger during this time.
