POSITION TITLE: Volunteer Director
SALARY LEVEL: $30,000
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
HOURS: 40 hours per week, occasional evenings and weekends required.
SUMMARY
The Volunteer Director will promote the mission and vision of the Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery by providing leadership, direction and management for the Volunteer Services Department. This includes the development and administration of policies and procedures in compliance with agency and inter-departmental goals. The Volunteer Director will interact at a high level with Board of Trustees, Executive Director, professional team directors/leaders and the community.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication or related field highly desirable or a minimum of three years experience in non-profit volunteer management required.
A high degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a broad and diverse constituency is essential.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly standing, walking, sitting, listening, talking, and using hands and fingers, while occasionally climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and reaching with hands and arms.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Hey good news...two points there is now a three day grace period before vehicles will be ticketed for no parking permit. Still get a ticket for other things though (parking in disability zone, parking out of the flow of traffice, etc.).
