📚🦅 What a week it has been in first grade!

Our students’ favorite books arrived through some VERY special deliveries—by kayak, service animal, wheelbarrow, and more! Each delivery brought plenty of happiness, excitement, laughter, and huge smiles!

As Mrs. Olson shared:

“In all my years of teaching, this is the best thing I’ve ever done!” 💙

The perfect ending to this fun-filled literacy week was a special visit from none other than Stevie Eagle! 🦅📖

Okay… maybe they also just love getting into the rivalry with Mr. E—but either way, I’ll take it! 😂

We have to celebrate some of our awesome friends who proudly showed up in their Cougar Crimson today. They clearly made an excellent choice!

Somehow, during all the fun at Stevens Sweet Start, I didn’t take a single picture! 🤦‍♂️🍦

All I have is one lonely photo of me with a broom, a picture of the calm before the ice-cream-fueled excitement began, and two bonus pictures I found of our incredible staff helping set up! 😂🧹
