Coordinated Care will be hosting a Mobile Market Resource Fair in partnership with Second Harvest Inland Northwest tomorrow, Tuesday, October 28, 11 AM to 1 PM in the parking lot of the Spokane Valley Mall. Stop by for fresh and nonperishable items to help you and your family. No appointment or paperwork required. They will serve up to 250 families (or while supplies last). Look for the SNAP Outreach team while you’re there for information on our programs and available resources!

DOH has received additional funding from the U.S. Dept of Agriculture, allowing the state to continue providing food benefits and supporting its staff for the state’s WIC Nutrition Program through mid-to-late November. For details, see our news statement: https://heyor.ca/BnnNzI

Please use your benefits BEFORE the end of October!
Today, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) received a second award of food funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, allowing us to maintain food benefits and our current 10-person state Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program team through the end of October. We will provide updates if this timeline changes.

SNAP, McKinstry, and Avista Utilities are giving away a total of 1,000 kits to help local families reduce their energy bills. Kits include energy-saving light bulbs, window plastic, and more!
