🌟INSTRUCTOR HIGHLIGHT 🌟
Todd Cady is the Flagger/Traffic Control instructor for Spokane Colleges, conducting monthly classes on weekends for Workforce Training & Continuing Education, as well as classes for the Skilled Trades Preparation Program. While it is his secondary job, teaching is a passion for him, and the ‘lightbulb’ moments make it all worthwhile.
He comes from a family of teachers, and the family motto has been, “Those who can, teach. Those who can’t go into some less significant line of work.” If you know your job well enough to teach it to those coming after you, you are elevating your field of work, and a benefit to it.

Had the opportunity to meet with Sonderen Packaging to discuss workforce needs and opportunities. While we were there we were able to have a tour of their amazing facility and see their work in action.
If you're not familiar with Sonderen, they are a family-owned business that has been in Spokane for over 60 years and they create packaging for many products that you likely have in your home.
It is always fascinating to see all the things manufactured right here in Spokane.
