Today is the day!!!!
We are thrilled about those that will be attending the 34th annual Spokane Scholars Banquet and would like to apprise you of a few details.
Banquet Details:
· The banquet is Monday, April 20th at the Spokane Convention Center, Ballrooms 100 A, B, C (Directly across from the Davenport Grand Hotel)
· The address for the Spokane Convention Center is: 334 W Spokane Falls Boulevard, Spokane, WA 99201 Parking is available in the Convention Center parking garage or across the street from the Convention Center at the Davenport Grand Hotel parking garage.
· Doors will open to the banquet hall at 6:00 P.M. The event typically ends between 9:00 and 9:15 P.M.
· Meal Service and program will begin promptly at 6:30 P.M. If you selected a vegan/vegetarian entree on your registration form, you will receive a ticket with this information at check-in. Please place the ticket on the table for your waiter. We are honored to have a string quartet from The Oaks Classical Christian Academy provide music as you enter and are seated. Please be respectful of their talents and keep conversations at a low volume.
· Dress: The Scholar presentation will occur on the ballroom stage and reporters from the Spokesman Review will be attending the banquet. We encourage the Scholars to dress in business attire.
Scholars/Family Members/School Staff Check-In:
About 850 attendees will be in attendance, so we ask for your flexibility. You will check-in at the tables outside the ballrooms by name of your high school as seating will be assigned by school. Attendees and families will sit with the school of the scholar you are supporting. Each school will have a block of tables set aside for the number of attendees registered under that specific school. There are no assigned seats within the block of tables. Attendees are encouraged to be flexible so families may sit together within that block of seats. *Please note that there are no same-day registrations. Only registered attendees will be able to attend the banquet.
· There will be three check-in areas:
· High Schools A-M
· High Schools N-Z
· Presenters, Donors and Special Guests
We have reserved the room directly across from the main ballroom doors/check-in tables as a place to wait until the doors open at 6:00 p.m. Please wait in that area so those still checking in can easily wait in line to check-in
Donors/Presenters/Special Guests:
There will be a separate check-in table for those who are not associated with a specific school and are attending as a donor, presenter or special guest. You will receive a name-tag and information regarding your table assignment at check-in.
Photo Station:
Two photo stations inside the ballroom will be available at the event so you can take personal photos.
Live Stream:
We will be offering a live stream view of the banquet for those friends and family members who will not be attending the banquet in person. You can start viewing that live stream at 6:00 p.m. via this link: https://www.spokanescholars.com/watch-banquet
Social Media:
We encourage you to join the Spokane Scholars page as we will be posting updated information and lots of pictures from the banquet. Spokane Scholars Foundation - Home | Facebook Please use the hashtag: when posting pictures on social media such as Facebook and Instagram.
Spokesman Review:
Lastly, there will be a 2-page spread of all the Spokane Scholars published in the Spokesman Review on April 19th, 2026. At the banquet there will be reporters from the Spokesman so look for follow-up articles later that evening, the following day and in Sunday, April 26th, newspaper.
We hope this will be a memorable event, one that will celebrate all the academic achievements of these outstanding young adults. What an honor to be recognized as one of the top students from their high school and Spokane community.
