What started back in 2016 as a way for the college to celebrate 125 years of pharmacy education, has grown over the past 10 years into the Crimson Gala we know and love today.

Every year our community comes together to champion student success and strengthen the future of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. Join us this September 25 for an unforgettable evening celebrating Coug pharmacists, researchers, alumni, students, and friends on World Pharmacists Day.

At the WSU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences we are proud to have a community full of people committed to improving lives through education, research, and compassionate care.

They are the students who demonstrate daily their commitment to their future patients, innovation, and helping those around them. The faculty guiding those students through their education while making their own impact on health and research. The staff who work behind the scenes to make our college a welcoming place where students can be proud to earn their degrees.

Malia Hazen is headed to Portland, Oregon for a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Oregon Health and Science University ! 🎉

Here's what Malia had to say about the match and WSU:

❔ What was your reaction when you matched?
"I was ecstatic when I heard that I matched to my number one program! There might have been a few happy tears shed as well 😊"

❔ Do you have any advice to share with future students?
"Say yes and push yourself out of your comfort zone! You never know what a certain opportunity will bring you in the future."

❔ What is your favorite thing about WSU?
"My favorite thing about WSU is the community that it fosters. Everyone is so supportive and pushes you to be the best you can be!"

This spring, the college was honored to celebrate future leaders in health care and research graduating from the undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.

As part of the ceremony, the college also recognized veterans, Doctor of Pharmacy graduates who received national awards and Rural Health Initiative acknowledgements.
