Whether you’re a scientist writing a lab report or an engineer presenting your newest design, English will help you accomplish your career goals by shaping the way you engage with research, develop creative and sophisticated analyses, and craft arguments. Gonzaga English grads have gone on to practice fields such as Content Development for Techno
logy, Government, Medicine, and Marketing. With our talented and caring faculty, choice between a Writing or Literature concentration, an English minor program, and the potential to pursue English in conjunction with pre-med, pre-law, teaching certification programs, or any other path of study, all of your goals can be made possible through the Gonzaga English Department. With resources such as the Writing Center, and ways to get involved and gain practical experience such as Department internships, student publications, the English club, and Visiting Writers series, students from all majors have the ability to stretch their minds and skills. Whether you are a prospective student, a non-major, undeclared, are thinking of switching to English or adding a minor, an alum, a parent, or current English student, we welcome you.
