Miss Christina’s class got to release some butterflies this week. They loved being in her classroom so much, they didn’t want to fly away.

After what felt like a long, snowless winter, those magical few days of snowfall this year were pure excitement! For a brief moment, everything was transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland. Fresh powder blanketed the ground, rooftops glistened in white, and the air had that crisp, electric chill that makes you want to run outside and soak it all in.

We didn’t waste a second. Snowmen sprang to life — Laughter echoed through the neighborhood as we bundled up in hats and mittens, tossed snowballs, and left trails of footprints behind us. Even the simplest moments — catching snowflakes, making snow angels, or warming up afterward — felt extra special.

Those few snowy days reminded us how a little change in the weather can bring a lot of joy. And even though the snow has melted, the memories we made building, playing, and laughing together are still glowing just as brightly.

Miss Christina's wrapped up our exciting unit on hibernation with a cozy and creative celebration—Hibernation Day! 🐻❄️

The children came to school in their pajamas, ready to settle in for a long winter’s nap. We transformed our classroom into a bear-sized adventure! Students crawled through the classroom door like sleepy bears heading into their dens and pretended to hibernate under tables turned into “caves.”

While staying nice and snug in their caves, the children completed their work just like hibernating animals resting through winter. They measured their stuffed animal friends using blocks, exploring math skills in a hands-on way. We even worked together to build our very own caves out of blocks—learning about structures and teamwork along the way!
