I am sorry to announce that there will be an indefinite delay to the Spokane school reopening full time. Mr. Mitchell spent most of last year with his wife who had terminal cancer. After a tremendous fight, she has passed. Since then he has been working to bring his school vision into being in Airway Heights, but there are many, many steps to navigate through the building process, city permits, etc. The lengthy process is proving to be a bureaucratic challenge and will take an unknown amount of time.

For of the Aaction Kenpo students here in Spokane, we apologize for the limited communications. Mr. Mitchell has had a number events happen. He is still hoping to open the new school next year but exact time is not certain. We will update with further details after the first of the new year.

We are sorry about the delay in postings. The past month has been hectic with challenges such as the Grey Fire and others. Mr. Mitchell is working on setting up intermediate classes; however, we do not have a specific time schedule yet. Please check in and we will provide further updates.

There are some changes occurring with Aaction Kenpo these days. Mr. Mitchell has closed the Garland Street school in order to concentrate on building his new Headquarter School in Airway Heights!!! Yes, this is correct, there will be a NEW headquarter school in Airway Heights. Stay posted for updates.

He is still working with current students and will advise of upcoming training opportunities. We will be sending out emails with specific training information. If you are a student and wish to make sure you are on the email list, please send us a private message and we will get the information.

Happy New Year to everyone! Regular classes are starting again on Tuesday at the same time as before. Mr. Mitchell is very excited to see everyone and will be at the school all this week. He has been working very hard and has a ton of new ideas and plans for this year! Join in to start the New Year with a dose of Kenpo!

Due to the weather conditions tonight's open class is cancelled. There are no classes next week for the Christmas break. Classes will resume in the new year on Tuesday 1/3/2023 with regularly scheduled school hours and the return of Master Jerald Mitchell.

Mr. Cowles will be at the studio tonight for open workout and training time! Come down for a great workout!

Mister Mitchell is doing very well and gives his congratulations to BJ for his promotion to Purple Belt. Way to go BJ! The promotion was overseen by Mr. Matt Cowles and Mr. Quinn Norton. Mr. Mitchell is excited to see everyone and remember open classes available on Tuesdays from 5p-9p. See everyone there!

Master Jerald Mitchell will be taking a hiatus for elective surgery and associated physical therapy afterwards. Normally scheduled classes will be on hold until January 2023. In the meantime, the school will be open Tuesdays from 5 pm to 9 pm starting in late October and continuing through to Christmas break. Master Mitchell has recruited two of his systems' most experienced Black Belts to provide guidance and instruction during this period. Associate Professor Mary Wright (5th Degree Black) and Senior Instructor Matt Cowles (4th Degree Black) with other studio black belts will provide guidance and instruction. This time will be open workout and an excellent time to work on your art and receive personalized instruction from Ms. Wright and Mr. Cowles.
