Armed Women of America - Eastern WA Chapter

With the current political climate, gun ownership and the complex laws surrounding their use is a significant topic throughout our nation.

A recent Gallop Poll reported that 23% of women personally own fi****ms and women, for the past four years, are the largest growing segment of the historically male dominated firearm industry. With the number of women owning fi****ms growing across the country, women are eager to learn and practice with other women, because for a woman new to shooting, the very male driven firearm industry can be

intimidating.

To create woman friendly opportunities to practice and learn AWA - Eastern WA holds monthly meetings to introduce issues important to women shooters, learn self-defense, acquire gun-handling skills, and train together in a safe and supportive environment.

With more than 120 active members, AWA - Eastern WA is an exciting mix of ladies age 18 to 83 who enjoy our women-friendly shooting and self-defense opportunities. Chapter members find great value in meeting other like-minded women and they enjoy our highly informative and compelling meeting topics. The chapter meets at 6pm on the 2nd Friday of each month at Spokane Rifle Club’s Indoor Range and one Saturday morning each month at Davenport Gun Club.
