Born in Washington and returned once again after travelling to share knowledge and skills and values all the way to the Central US, spanning well 50 years. Learning leather skills as well as other Indigenous crafts at an early age, I continue even today to share knowledge and to teach what I have learned to others who wish to partake. Sharing skills, knowledge and teaching history is very important; this will be quickly evident in the products made or should you ever have an opportunity to take a class with me. You'll not only learn how to make the project but the history of it, learning how to properly prepare your supplies. reasoning behind material choices and so much more. Whether you purchase an item or take a class my hope is that your experience and appreciation of our indigenous craft and history is one that you will pass along to others.

I find it important to reestablish a connection to my culture and history; it is lost if it is not taught and passed on...this is how skills, stories and history can be lost to the ravages of time. It is important to me to take the time to instruct and educate those at the local reservations, classes are regularly sold out when I'm able to schedule them.

​I've taught moccasin making, drum making, dream catchers, dance belts and so much more. It's a wonderful feeling to see all the happy faces and completed projects when a class finishes the day. I've had students across the range, from barely able to walk to elders that want to participate and revisit the skillset teaching offered.
