Northside Learning Center Preschool We are a private preschool, located on north Monroe. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8:55am-12:15pm. Sept-May.

Northside Learning Center Preschool is located in north Spokane, in the Northwood Presbyterian Church, but is not church affiliated. The school has six large classrooms located on the main floor and each has large windows, creating an airy, light environment allowing the children the pleasure of seeing the seasonal changes throughout the year. The large size rooms provide the children important sp

ace for movement and play. The classrooms are clean, pleasant, well-equipped and well organized. Unlike many preschools that deal with only language or social development, the Northside Learning Center Preschool effectively covers all developmental areas by employing thematic teaching to create a learning experience throughout the morning. Each of the classrooms is set up and equipped as one activity center.

Update: Mrs. Briggs’ house is now down to a level one and she and her family are going home tomorrow (Monday the 10th). We are hoping welcome letters will go out no later than Tuesday. Thank you all for your patience!

One of our preschool families. The daughter attended our preschool a couple years ago. The son came last year and is coming this year as well. Their home was damaged in the Old Trails fire. And dad is out there fighting these fires being a Spokane Firefighter. Bless you!!

FIRE ALLERT: with all that is going on with the wildfires in north Spokane, things for school start up have been delayed. I don’t know when we’ll get back on track. The school is in a lv 3 evacuation zone. The Old Trails fire came within blocks of Mrs. Briggs home, but so far her family and home are safe. However, all the preschools things, records, laptop and phone are in her home office. And it’s still an active evacuation zone.
Sadly, Mrs. A’s eldest son’s family lost their home and everything in it. They are out safely with her though. Our other teachers and their families are safe as well.
