The fair is this week! If you've been following our tips, then you are ready! Lay out your professional outfit, print those resumes, and place them in a nice folder or padfolio to keep them fresh when you hand them out to employers on Wednesday.

The FUSE Career Fair is less than one week away, which means we have reached the last post highlighting the benefits of the fair for each class year. If you missed any of our previous posts, make sure you scroll back to check out some things Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors can gain by attending career fairs. Today we wrap it up by highlighting our Seniors and Grad Students!

That's right, this fair is not just for undergraduates, but graduate students, too! Both can take advantage of the fair by honing in on exactly which opportunities they want to pursue and making key contacts with recruiters who can help them achieve their goals. There's nothing to lose, and so much to gain at FUSE!

Today we offer our 10th and final employer spotlight for the 2023 FUSE Career Fair: Casne Engineering. Casne is an employee-owned electrical engineering company with 40 years of professional experience. They are looking for engineering, technical, and service employees to grow their team NEXT WEEK at the FUSE Career Fair. Catch them there!

Once you've collected business cards from recruiters and shared your resume, what comes next? Increasingly the answer is connect online! Update your LinkedIn profile with a new headshot for free at the FUSE Career Fair! Our photographer will be available any time during the fair hours to provide one free portrait just for you.

Our next employer spotlight is for the students who love the smell of fresh flowers and soaking up the sunlight. That's right, we're talking about creating beautiful outdoor designs with Rich Landscaping! Help beautify the commercial landscape with this family owned business at the FUSE Career Fair.

You've identified your goals, prepped your resume, and practiced your "elevator speech"- what's next? Today we want to talk about professional attire. While the event itself doesn't have a required dress code, we strongly encourage students to treat this event as a formal, professional opportunity and to dress accordingly.

Professional attire can mean different things to different people, so we won't be telling you exactly what pieces to wear, but instead to do a little homework before you pick your outfit. Consider things like industry standards, company culture, and your comfort. When in doubt, it's best to lean more formal.

The FUSE Career Fair is great for ALL class years, which is why we are happy to roll out the third post in our series about how it can benefit YOU! Today we want to highlight Juniors! As a junior, you can still do all the things freshman and sophomores do like exploring career fields and building a network, but you may also have a stronger sense of what you are looking for in terms of connections and opportunities. You can now pinpoint specific opportunities of interest and take a more targeted approach at connecting with recruiters. Enjoy this and so much more at the FUSE career fair on March 1.
