All-league honors for spring sports hit the newspaper today! Check out all the Pups who were recognized alongside their peers. We are so proud of all our student-athletes.

Spring 2026 high school sports all-league teams for Greater Spokane League and Eastern Washington Spring 2026 high school sports all-league teams for the Greater Spokane League, Northeast A, Northeast 2B, Northeast 1B and Southeast 1B leagues.

On Thursday, members of the Gonzaga Prep community attended the 2026 Women in Leadership Breakfast in Spokane. As we celebrate 50 years of coeducation, we are grateful for the many Prep women, past and present, who serve in leadership roles across our community. We were especially proud to see Prep connections on the panel, including Melissa Koontz `08, alumna, and Dr. Lori Hunt, who will have a freshman at Prep in the fall. Their leadership reflects the impact of a Prep education and the future leaders we continue to form.

The Spokesman-Review's graduation section features a senior from each of the area's high schools. Class of 2026 salutatorian Kameron Pitts, a scholarship recipient while a student at Prep, has excelled in academics and service. He'll be attending Washington University in St. Louis on a Quest Bridge full-ride scholarship.

Gonzaga Preparatory School: Kameron Pitts' dedication to education started early In fourth grade, Gonzaga Prep senior Kameron Pitts got a “less than desirable” grade on an assignment.

At Gonzaga Prep, great educators combine expertise, care, and a commitment to helping every student feel known, loved, and seen. This year, we are proud to recognize two educators who embody that mission: Siri Herzog, mathematics chair, named the Dr. Jack and Marilyn McKenna Teacher of the Year, and Sarah Long ’09, counselor and counseling center chair, honored as the JSN Ignatian Educator of the Year.

At graduation each year, Gonzaga Prep presents awards to seniors who embody the characteristics of a Jesuit education and the profile of the graduate. Bullpup boys track and field found the podium at the State Track Championships this weekend for their excellence in the classroom! The team was named the WIAA academic state champs for the highest collective GPA among 4A teams. Congratulations!

The G-Prep instrumental music department wrapped up their year in style with a Luau-themed barbecue on the Quad last week. Performances from jazz club, percussion, orchestra, and wind ensemble were hits with the audience as they played throughout the evening. Thank you to all who support our performing arts program!
