Our Executive Director of FLO (Carleen Horton-Varner), attended the HEAV leadership conference earlier this year and was given the opportunity to invite a family to the HEAV convention JUNE 4-6 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia. This is a major three day event with over 150 workshops, a huge exhibit hall with vendors plus amazing keynote speakers. If any of you are mentoring new homeschool families and need supporting documentation for testing/assessments as well as information on what will fulfill YOUR State requirements, we have helpful folders and info we can send to you to use as their mentor/teacher. These folders also have room on the inside for you to place any of your own documentation and/or recommendations. Many coops and mentors are finding these very helpful.
