CHI Students!!! Please join us this Saturday for the Horse Crazy Cowgirl Band concert.

Our van will leave CHI at 5 PM. We will drive to the Four Mound Prairie Bison Ranch Arena.

This concert will offer stadium seating, so bring a blanket to sit on and dress warm!!!

Classic western food and beverages will be available for sale, so bring some cash to taste the yummy sandwiches and other food!!!

WELCOME new students to CHI!!!! We have about 12 new students, from China, Vietnam, Tunisia and UAE.

Our first event is a trip to the Spokane InterstateFair. You'll see performers, rides, American farm equipment and techniques, every kind of animal you can imagine, and can't, and FAIR FOOD!!!!

There is no cost to students for this trip. We will leave CHI at 3 PM on Saturday, and return at 8 PM. We will provide transportation and entry tickets. If you want to go on the midway rides or eat (and you will!!!) bring cash for those things.

Interstate Fair | Spokane County, WA Spokane County's Interstate Fair is a ten-day event beginning the Friday after Labor Day each year. The Fair is held at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center on the corner of Broadway and Havana, its location since 1952.

September 3 and our first new student has arrived. Welcome Salman! Can't wait to meet all the new students. We're expecting 16 more in the next week or so!

The damage from the windstorm has been repaired. We have electricity and water. The hot water will take a couple of hours to get up to temperature but we're happy to have things getting back to normal. You will see large fans around the building. These are drying out the carpet and walls. If they are in your apartment please don't turn them off. They will be running until at least Monday.

Sorry to do this, but there no choice. Thanksgiving dinner is postponed toTuesday at 5:30. I have no way to heat food. See you on Tuesday and come HUNGRY!!!

Hi everyone. Just letting you know that the power is still out here. So many people have asked to be notified wben it comes back up that I decided to make announcements here. I'm not on FB a lot, because it eats too much data, but I will make updates here.
The tree that took took the lines down is still on the lines. The power is on across the street and 2 of our lights have power but theres no way to know when the lines to the buildings will be repaired.
Hope everybody is staying reasonably warm. I'll let you know on FB when the power is back.
