Kids First Kids First Children Center offers quality childcare to ages 1 to 10 years old. We pick up and drop off school aged children at Garfield and Audubon.

We at Kids First Children's Center understand the concerns of parents today in placing their children under the care and responsibility of a day care center. It is with this understanding that we offer to you a quality childcare program for children ages 1 to 10 years old. Children will be accepted regardless of race, creed, disability, or color. We will provide care to physically, emotionally and

developmentally handicapped children to the best of our ability. It is our aim to allow each child to grow, with guidance, in each of our classrooms. Kids First Children's Center is a privately owned business where Christian values are an important part of our day-to-day operations. These values, will be taught through the examples set by the staff members teaching who Jesus Christ is through songs and Bible stories, and praying at meal times. We also celebrate all Christian holidays and explain to the children the meanings of these holidays. Specific doctrinal values will not be taught.

Kids First Children’s Center LLC is looking for Early Childhood Educators who are dedicated, committed and enthusiastic to help maintain a high quality learning program meeting the needs of the children, their families and the community. We are accepting applications for all positions. Leads and assistants for full-time and part-time will be considered.

Skills and Qualifications preferred:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to relate well to children and their families
• Ability to plan curriculum
• CPR & First Aid/ HIV Training/ TB Test Duties and Responsibilities
• Duties will be performed in, but not limited to, the classroom, and on the playground
• Organize the learning environment, setting up learning centers and preparing needed materials and supplies
• Perform general classroom housekeeping duties
• Ensure a safe environment in the classroom with primary importance on the safety and well-being of children
• Become knowledgeable about the individual daily needs and well-being of each child in the classroom

Wages will be based upon Education pertaining to the field and experience.
Willing to train as well.

Paid 1 week vacation after 1 year.
2 weeks after 2 years.
accrued PTO.

We are looking for an individual who not only loves children but loves to cook! Must have or obtain a food handlers card and pass a background check.
*USDA Food Program experience is preferred but not needed.

Responsibilities include:
-preparing both breakfast and lunch meals for all children and staff in the facility.
-cleaning work area
-ability to work well with children and other staff members
