For the second year in a row, our own Joseph Schubert was honored to have one of his compositions selected for performance as part of the 10-day London Festival of Contemporary Church Music. Last year, his a ca****la motet for SATB choir—Ave Verum Corpus—was given its world premiere. This year, his Toccata-Fantasia on “Kirken” was given its world premiere by concert organist Martyn Noble at Saint John the Baptist Church in Chipping Barnet (London).
The concert was recorded. When the recording is available later this year, a link will be made available. Check out the concert details: https://lfccm.com/whatson/events/26053/.
Congratulations, Dr. Schubert!
