Did you know if you work hourly or on commission in Washington State, you are entitled to 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked? As a Stylist, many people need time for being sick and or to take care of others. And, you can roll over up to 40 hours of sick time the following year if you haven't used it. This is a great benefit for Stylists in Washington. Ask your employer about it if you're not sure. Your pay should equal your average hourly pay from the preceding 90 days, or your commission broken down to an hourly wage. It's the law, so don't miss out on your benefits. .
